Anybody with any suggestions?
I just installed Boss Key on my laptop and it does not do anything. I pressed the save settings icon and then hit left & right mouse simultaniously, and nothing happens. what am I doing wrong?

Version 3.1 didn't have any mention of a key to use - it's only on theis website that I see F12 mentioned...

hi all.
There's one thing not working(bug).
If we have a Exel window open and active, the key F12 in Exel means "save as" ...

A little confused how do I set the boss key cool program??

It's a very nice and effective program. Thank you guys for making this available to everyone for free.

I hope that you will consider the idea having; 1) the program run in stealth mode (i mean having it run at startup without any shortcut in the startup folder and not displaying the main menu after logon); 2) an option to access the main menu thru a secret combination of keys, and; 3) another option not to display an icon in the system tray. These are just my suggestions.

Anyway, again thank you very much for this very useful program.

One small bug that I found. When I use it to hide the programs and mute the sound realated to those programs and then leave for a few hours when I come back and unhide the programs some time the sound will stay muted. It gat me a fit the first time it did it. Now it is not a problem now that I know what happend to the sound.

A few more bugs:

+ If you close/exit Boss Key without unhiding, the windows become no longer accessible. I could see them still running in the task manager, but they can't be retrieved.

+ When you close/exit Boss Key, it does not un-mute the sound

+ If you click on the tray icon for Boss Key, but decide not to choose any options, the pop-up window does NOT automatically go away after a period of seconds ... we are forced to choose an option.

Suggestion

Thank you very much for such a smart program development. It is a nice tool. However, it may make the Boss suspicious that you are doing something not supposed to. It would be logical to allow selection of program not control by the Boss key. It will be great if the EfreeSoft Boss Key program can set a trigger at the start of each new program to request for whether if that program needs to set the Boss key for it. After the setting is done, it will be defaulted with Boss key and can be hidden any time when the Boss key is use. To remove the control by the boss key, it should have the maintenace function within the setting screen to remove it. Alternatively, the setting screen may generate a list of all application program use in that PC and the user will need to select the program one by one to include into the Boss key. I believe the developer have the best solution in mind to present this function to all who wish to use this EfreeSoft Boss Key program. Looking forward for the next version with more enhance functionalities. Thanks again to for the great effort in the program development.

Boss key works great at start up, but somewhere along during the day, it stops functioning? I am using Diskkeeper to keep my computer defragged when my screensaver is on. Could rearranging files during that process interfere? Other than that I have no clues as to why it stops working.

gREAT i HEDE THE windows and everything..... now how can I un hide them? I press a zillion combinations and the only one that shows somwthing are the winkey and of course ctrl-alt-delete.

A suggestion:
Add a function that can change/disable wallpaper.

I installed it on my home computer and it works fine i have XP there , But at work i have 2000 it doesn't hide the task bar

Great program! I think the following features will make it even better:

1) No tray icon for added security. Not just the tray icon for hidden programs, but also the tray icon for this program.

2) Ability to select programs to hide and not hide.

3) Ability to change the hot key.

BTW, is there an ETA of when a new version will be out?

When can I get the new version, where i can select what program do not hide?

Will Boss Key be supporting the Windows Vista operating system soon?
